Today, we need to protect the Internet from various threats, more than ever!
We need to explain to people what Internet could be if… a threat becomes reality.
A few examples:
- Splinternet, a set of Internets controlled by governments;
- An unsecured Internet without privacy because some governments wants to forbid secure communications;
- Will we let Artificial Intelligence to govern us? Or let everything in hands of a few Big Techs (GAFAM)?
- How to be protected from cybercriminals activities as ransomware, identity theft, cyberbullying, sextorsion, or other?
- What about Quantum Internet?
- …
Join Internet Threats Modelling Working Group, you’ll learn a lot and if you want to have the opportunity to vote to rank threats to be addressed, to contribute or to be a leader addressing one of those threats. The output of this Working Group will serve as one of the bases for future Internet Policies and advocacy, with some videos posted on social media.
